Doepfer

hi ladies (hopefully there's 1 or 2) and gentlemen-
i was talking to shawn at analogue haven, who recommended against my 
putting a spring reverb in a suitcase.  i wondered if anyone tried 
this using the new PSU, which supposedly causes less noise due to ring 
core transformer?
also, i'm curious if anyone has attempted to sheild the reverb unit?  
perhaps covering it in tin foil, and attaching a ground from the 
transformer or bus board to the foil?
i could drill holes of course, but i'd like to have the tank nice and 
snug in the case so i don't have to futz with it when traveling.
