Hi, I know the 'which filter' question gets asked a lot but here goes anyway. I am looking for a low pass filter that is quick and hard. I want to be able to create those minimoog style thumping basslines - y'know the type: single osc into a filter that opens and closes very quickly and imparts a marked percussive quality to the bass. Not a blip or zap, mind you, more like a knock: the sound still has plenty of body and warmth and is clear and well defined. My guess is that the 108 or 105 are two likely candidates (I can only just fit a 108 so getting both is, for the moment, out of the question), but any further input would be much appreciated. ta and rgds Pierre p.s. I know that the envelope also plays a role here - I only have the VCADSR, but it sounds like it should be up to the job with the considerable benefit of being able to provide a negative exponential decay envelope which, I think, also helps with these sounds.
