Hi Martin, are you aware of the following suggestions by Doepfer for sound prosessing systems? Thought you may find them inspiring: http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_1.htm http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_2.htm http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_3.htm If you are processing external sounds excessively you will add sounds (eg. self oscillating filters, harmonics added by a ring modulator etc) thus a A128 (Fixed Filter Bk) is very helpful to master the result and shape it more at will. Top on my list of must have modules is the A199 spring reverb. I tested it once at Schneiders Büro (Berlin) and thought it great! (There were a thread on this module cs. it can induce humming in the audio path, so may be you should check the archive.)
