Sound Process Was: beginning to feel very stupid...

2005-05-13 by ilanode

Hi Martin, are you aware of the following suggestions by Doepfer for
sound prosessing systems? Thought you may find them inspiring:
http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_1.htm
http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_2.htm
http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A100_System_Processing_3.htm

If you are processing external sounds excessively you will add
sounds (eg. self oscillating filters, harmonics added by a ring
modulator etc) thus a A128 (Fixed Filter Bk) is very helpful to
master the result and shape it more at will.
Top on my list of must have modules is the A199 spring reverb. I
tested it once at Schneiders Büro (Berlin) and thought it great!
(There were a thread on this module cs. it can induce humming in the
audio path, so may be you should check the archive.)
Regards, Ingo
