hello ingo,

i don't use my ribbon to mimic a trautonium,
so i can't tell you anything about that.
it is correct that the r2m quantizer can't
be turned off, but i never ran into problems
because of that. but to be on the safe side,
i bought both a198 and r2m ;-)
