We had indeed a lot of problems with the A-100 and some prototype modules
when we exhibited at the NAMM 2003. It took me about one hour to convince
the security personnel that this dangerous material (no weapons, no nuclear
material, no bombs or material that can be used for bombs and similar).

I also do not recommend to check the A-100 suitcase as baggage. If you have
ever seen how the baggage is treated at airports you know what I mean. Even
the conveyor belts may damage the case (external or even inside if the
acceleration is too much).
Despite their name flight cases (not only the A-100 suitcase but flight
cases in general) should not be used for transportation via
mail/UPS/forwarders/air freight and similar without without additional
packaging.
