yesterday i changed the pic chip of my a154.
it seems that the big jump in the clock tempo
around 120 bpm has gone with the new pic.
however the clock range seems to be the same
with both pic's. it is still a bit touchy to
adjust the clock to a certain tempo because
of the very wide range of the a154 clock.
nevertheless the new pic is a good improvement
and those users who had problems with the known
tempo jump should consider an update of the pic.

anyway, for very exact tempo adjustments i'd
still recommend an external clock with a smaller
range than the a154 clock. f.e. an a147 vc lfo is
perfect for this job imho, as it still enables you
to change the tempo with a voltage if desired.
