if the module had two 512 stage bbds and two clocks, with the  
possibilty to feed the output of stage 1 into stage 2 (maybe an input  
socket on stage two normalised to output 1 )and the option of sharing  
one clock between both delay lines (switchable, perhaps with an  
external gate signal), you could use it as two seperate units, a stereo  
unit, or one long delay with two taps (and optionally two different  
samplerates...:-) )
in a way like the vactrol phaser....
