patching problem with new system...

2006-01-08 by moogy

Hi Everyone,

Firstly here is a list of modules in my new system,

G6 case
A-185 bus access
A-102 diode filter
A-118 noise source
3xA-140 ADSR
2xA-146 LFO
A-160 clock divider
A-161 clock sequencer
2x A-180 multiples
A-138 mixer
A-108 VCF
A-179 LCV
A-119 external in
A-114 ring mod
2x A-110 VCO
A-131 VCA
A-137 VC wave multiplier
A-199 spring reverb

I'm using an MCV-4 being triggered by a Voyager.

Here's my problem,

I have the gate connection from the MCV4 going to 'gate in' on the
bus access and CV1/2 fom the MCV into 'CV in' on the bus access.
'Gate Out' from bus access goes to 'Gate In' on the ADSR.Output from
the ADSR goes to 'CV1' on a VCO.Sawtooth output from the VCO goes to
output on the mixer.
Under these conditions I'm getting a continously sustained note. The
Voyager is articulating notes from the VCO and the ADSR is triggered
and produces an envelope but once the envelope cycle finishes the
system produces a sustaining note.If I remove the ADSR to VCO CV1
connection the system will still articulates notes from the Voyager
but still returns to a sustaining note.

I've tried various set ups but still can't get rid of the sutaining
note...hope my description is clear enough, can anyone please help,

thanks,

terry.
