hello - i just recently reconfigured some of my modules into a "portable cabinet" and looking it over, it would also make a good starter system, imho - to a g6 frame, add : audio : a110, a110, a110, a138, a137,a114, a108, a101-2, a131 c.v. : a162, a143-2, a143-3,a118, a170, a148, a149-1, a180 the initial inquiry mentioned "3000 euro", so use the remaining funds for controllers - a155 sequencer, etc. in a second g6 frame. (i have a g6 frame configured as a "controller" frame as part of my modest 4 g6 set-up). hope this gives you some idea`s for a "starter" system - best, dave p.s. - in answer to another part of your question, i find a110`s very adequate as sources. for me, their primary limitation is lack of linear fm but i use other modules from other manufacturers for that (and other) functions. i think of the a110 as the "volks-vco" - it does the job with no frills and is wonderfully affordable - [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
