TD, replacing the power supply should not be necessary. In any case you have to pay attention that the correct fuse (250mA for the standard PSU, 500mA for PSUII) is used and it has to be time lag/slow blow in any case. I have sent another message to the group to find out how the fuse response (fast/medium/slow) is marked in USA as I only know the type of marking for German fuses. It is also no problem if you use a little bit higher fuse value (e.g. 315mA or 400mA instead off 250mA, 600 mA or 700 mA instead of 500 mA), but not more than ~ 50% more than the suggested value (in case of a short circuit the fuse will blow even the value is a bit higher than the suggested value). We took the fuse values from the data sheet of the transformer manufacturer. Though we never had a blown fuse here in the company (provided that everything was OK with the PSU and the modules) the fuse values given by the transformer manufacturer maybe a bit too conservative.
