Hello. I just had a conversation with a music store in Stockholm, about my connectors/intentions, which ended with the guy hanging up on me! He couldn´t understand what I so ambitiously described to him, and got mad when I tried to insist. So I will try with you guys. Using the A-134 VC-panning as reference, because it has what I will need as a connector/adapter onboard. It has 3 outs, left right and MIX output. I guess that this one acts like a crossfader as response for panning modulation. Which means: when PAN goes to RIGHT the LEFT volume decreases/disappeares, and then the oppisite will procedure occurs. Other words CENTER POS: ½L + ½R = 1 <<<ALT>>> CENTER POS: L + R = 2 PAN RIGHT: 0L + R = 1 <<<ALT>>> PAN RIGHT: 0L + R = 1 PAN LEFT: L + 0R = 1 <<<ALT>>> PAN LEFT: L + 0R = 1 BINGO!!! Specially if the first alternative is the case (??), ((the "swapping" application in mind, if the second alt is the case, i will manage with a combined vol mod & panner, volume added as the panning leaves the center)) Problem: I have a module that does panning left-right, but it does not have the MIX output (only regular L-R), can I create it by myself, by just applying a stereo to mono adaptor as in the attached picture? Are the signals mixed properly in this simple device, so that I gain a crossfader out of a panner??? Very thanks! Martin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
