Re: [Doepfer_a100] "playing" without a keyboard

How about Doepfer's ribbon controller? Or a Frostwave's Spacebeam Theremin thing-a-mabob?

You might also check out the Eowave <http://www.eowave.com/page_produit?prod=> site as they have a bunch of wild controllers that your can wear! (Oh, but I guess that's midi.)

hello hello.

I'm looking into controlling devices that can produce gate and CV
signals but aren't keyboard-based. I know there are joysticks with
gate buttons and ribbon controllers and touch sensitive pads but what
else? I'm not opposed to DIY projects (I can solder OK) and I think
the more different types of controllers the better (within reason and
budget). Simple and/or complex.

While I have a MIDI to CV converter, I'd rather keep it analog,
portable and battery operated. I'll have A-119, the external in /
envelope follower to help interface stuff.

What's out there and what do you like using?

thanks,
Bryan K.
