Doepfer

I recently noticed that if I connect my Digisound 80-6L or
EFM VCF7 to the A-131 and use a short attack I get loud
clicks from the VCA, quite different (and a whole lot
louder) than the short click I'm used to getting with
zero attack.

Could this be due to some interaction
or bad decoupling in these two filters?

I also have the EFM VCF6 which is fine and neither do
I get it with the A-120 or A-121, nor with Ken Stone's
Synthacon filter.

I assume that it has to do with AC/DC coupling of the audio in/outputs. It
is important to know if you use the old version of A-131 (with CEM3382) or
the new one (with CA3080).

The old versions of A-130/A-131 had AC coupled in/outputs as this was a
precondition of the CEM3382. In this case no clicks should occur as the
A-131 does the AC coupling even if the source output is DC coupled.

The new version of the A-130/A-131 have DC coupled in/outputs to be able to
process even control voltages. In this case a clicks will occur if the audio
source output is DC coupled and has a DC offset. A simple capacitor should
