Doepfer

I just picked up a used A-141 VCADSR from my Doepfer distributor, and 
something is not quite right.  The pots for manual ADSR control all 
jump from completely off to completely on over the space of about 2 
degrees of pot rotation.  Also, fully enabling a CV input and 
controlling any stage with an external CV source results in the same 
behavior.  Is there anything I can do to correct this, or should I just 
send the module in for servicing?

this sounds like your a141 is broken.

but i'm trying to find out if someone has built a midi
map/sysex template to kontrol Native's Kontakt with a
Doepfer Drehbank.

Hi James,
what is so difficult not to do it by yourself? You have to develope a standard how to use Kontakt with MIDI for yourself, e.g. if you're using a filter module, you have always to choose the same MIDI-CC to control cutoff, resonance and so on! Once done it will always do a good job!

It seems that there's something wrong with the exponential converter. Please
send the module for repair/service to your distributor. If you are a bit
experienced with electronics you could try to find the problem yourself
(maybe only a solder jumper is missing). In this case please contact me
directly (hardware@doepfer.de).
