the mighty a1881

I received mine (256 stages) yesterday.  It's *incredible*, up there
with the a137 (which is my favourite module, although probably not for
too much longer :)).  Spent hours and hours running anything I could
think of into it, mucking with the polarity, modulating delay time,
marvelling at all the clever touches in its design.  The feedback loop
is a complete winner (especially with the a136 or a124).  

I love flangers and it's quite simply the best flanger I have ever
heard.  So much so that I am going to sell a number of classic flange
pedals that I have: they don't sound as good or offer as many options.

It encapsulates why I got into modular synthesis and why I bought a
doepfer particularly.  Thanks Dieter for all the incredible toys
you've provided us.
