I'll take the 115 and 118 if still available. Shipping
would be to Chicago.

Hello!!!!

again about the highpitched sounds in the examples........is that the clock
noise?

Isn't it possible to include a simple lowpass filter on the output?

AW: [Doepfer_a100] Two more sound examples for the A-188-2

Yes - it's probably the clock noise. My old ears didn't hear it when I
recorded the sounds, maybe because I used only the poor PC sound system as
our main PA is in another room at the moment. The outputs of the A-188-2
have been directly patched to the sound card of the PC. I'll do the examples
again with a filter at the output.

Best wishes

For the record:

I, for one, am grateful that Doepfer has decided to leave the BBDs
'naked' without built in filtering for clock noise.

You can think of a situation where you wouldn't cringe hearing the clock
noise in a recording? I'd rather have a built in tracking filter, and
if I wanted to be annoyed I'd just mix the clock output on the panel
into the signal.

ok, if the clock noise is always annoying to you,
then a different design would indeed be better for you,
but maybe you should see it in a different light.
even the "most expensive" doepfer-combination of a188/1d
and a108 is cheaper than most bbd-modules with built-in filters,
and as an extra you can use the external filter for other
purposes too, if you don't use the bbd.
