suitcase mods...

2007-01-12 by jeswa

i'm wondering if anyone has experimented with either of these two
suitcase modification ideas:

1. cutting into the plastic top and bottom margins and installing
multiples or other modules (flush, not surface mounted).

2. turning two suitcases into one clamshell case.

i don't know if i would do either, just thinking aloud here...

Someone on this list posted pictures of the top and bottom panels
modified with multiples and more added. I think that it is a great
idea. Always useful no matter what modules are placed under them.
Another idea would be recreating an A-185 buss access module in that
space. One could buy the module and just take the front panel off and
mount it there.
