Is there a "best" choice in A-188 series modules for Karplus-Strong
Synthesis?

It's simple if one is just picking for delays.

If they are all the same, I may buy A-188-1B or A-188-1C

The 188-1y (256) stages is amazing for karplus-strong & bitcrushing 
effects. I would buy 4 of them if I could.
