bass sequences, setup for beginners

bass sequences, setup for beginners

2007-05-30 by sewa01

Hello,

I'm considering the purchase of one of the A-100 systems. I'm
looking for machine that would allow me to create some of those
punchy, analog, Tangerine Dream - like sequences (Rubycon for
example). I thought about the "system with sequencer and
sampler" mentioned on the Doepfer website.

I haven't used any modular synth so far but I would like to give it a
try.
Do you think that the setup I mentioned would be appropriate for my
needs?
Do you have other suggestions?

Thanks in advance

sewa

Hi Sewa,
the sampler is not usefull to imitates tangerine dream 70's sound. You
only need a basic system and of course a sequencer and you can obtain
this type of sound with no difficulty.
I experiment a lot in this direction and i can say you that doepfer's
system can do that but also a lot of others things you don't imagine.

Thanks for the answer! If you had time to post some audio examples of
the sounds I referred to, I would be very grateful... :-)
