I read through the directions on the a-112 sample dump program. It says you need to have 
MIDI In/Out, going from your PC to the a-112. I have an Intel MacBook(Laptop), that runs 
Windows XP flawlessly using a program called Parallels Desktop. I have a MOTU MIDI Express 
Interface. It connects to the computer via USB. Will this work? Will the a-112 communicate 
through a MIDI interface or does it have to be plugged directly into the MIDI ports on a PC 
Soundcard? Excuse me, I know next to nothing about Windows computers.

In a regular windows environment it does work with a USB
MIDI-Interface (tried it with a Maudio Midisport 4x4 on Win98 (sic!)).
But I can't tell wether this will work in Parallels Desktop. I do have
no idea how well Parallels can handle driver emulation and in the end
it will depend on that...

    The main thing I was concerned with was if it will work with a USB MIDI
Interface. That was the main thing. I¹m sure Parallels can handle it. It
really does an amazing job. But that¹s another subject! :)
