hello

I just got the 2046 stage bbd module.  when i first had it going, the delay clock knob seemed 
to have a far more drastic effect on the range of the hsvco.  for some reason the range is 
much tighter now and at the lowest setting im not getting that crunchy long delayed effect.  
is there an adjustment i can make to increase the range of the knob?

Sounds like a defective exponential converter of the HSVCO. I suppose that
one of the transistors in the transistor array of the converter is damaged.
This would explain the reduced frequency range. If you are able to replace
an integrated circuit (no soldering required, justed removing the circuit
from the socket and replacing it by a new one) we would send a new
transistor array to your dealer/representative for free.

thanks for getting back to me.  Would this be a simple replacement?  If it is just a matter 
of removing the old one and placing a new one in that would be great.  It was purchased 
from Analogue Haven.  Should I get in touch with them?

I'll add the transistor array used in the BBD module (CA3096) to our next
consignment to Analogue Haven. Please contact Shawn Cleary. I think the next
delivery will be about middle of November. Send me an email directly if you
need to know details concerning the replacement of the circuit.
