g'day.
well, that's why I bought my system over in Europe.
I paid $3000 Australian Dollars for the 6U rack full of modules.
I worked it out to costing somewhere between $5000 and $6000 if I'd
purchased it from the importer here in Melbourne, and that's not saying
anything of the time I might have waited for it, either.
Doepfer told me they hadn't heard from the importer here in about a year!
So, yeah, those extra charges make what I see as an affordable sytem in
Europe not worth the bucks in Oz.
How much did your system cost Rachel?
The 6U rack and power supply in Europe costs about $500 or $550 Aussie
dollars.
Modules cost between about $150 and $400, mostly.
What do you create with ya stuff, Rachel?
Evan.

How are the prices in Europe compared to Australia? I note that prices
over here are very high - $900 for the 6U rack with just the buss and
power supply for example. The modules aren't too badly priced though.

I'm glad to hear of another Aussie with an A100. There can't be too many
around you know.....
