octave switching

octave switching

Does Doepfer make a module to use for switching up 1 octave or down 1
to use with oscillators as I couldn't see anything on the list of
modules website?

I'm thinking of buying a ribbon controller to use through a quantiser
to control oscillators and being able to shift up / down an octave
while using the ribbon would be very handy.

cheers

Richard

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for.

1. Each A-100 VCO has an octave switch (rotary switch)
2. The new A-185-2 precision adder/bus access can be used for octave
switching of several VCOs that are connected to the same bus. Details on our
website on the A-185-2 info page. You could e.g. connect the CV out of the
ribbon controller to the second CV input of the A-185-2 and use the third
switch for octave switching. The first input can be used e.g. for an
additional modulation with adjustable level (e.g. from an LFO or ADSR).

Best wishes
