Guitar pedal conversion to Doepfer Rack

Anybody every attempted / suceeded in taking the guts of guitar pedals
and putting them in a rack format? Presumably if still battery powered
quite easy, has anyone plumbed them in via the power rails?

Yes, I do use a Boss DD6 Delay with a portable A-100. I built something
similar as the 5V-Low-Cost Adapter (search for A-100AD5 in
http://www.doepfer.de/a100z_e.htm); it works for 9 volts (using a 7809
instead a 7805) and outputs direct to a cable instead of the 5V power
rail. If you know how to solder some electronic parts on a breadboard
pcb it should not be too complicated for you.
