Basic A100 question - The bus

Basic A100 question - The bus

2002-04-29 by stephenbennettchaos

Hi all

I just got a used A100 mini system. Am I right in assuming that the
Osc's and ADSRs should respond to CV and Gate from the MIDI interface
without patching? I can only get them to work with patch leads.

That is true UNLESS the pins on the busboards are removed. Check the info
for the a190 and the busboard in the technical dokuments on doepfers site.

hello,
did you check the a110's and the a140's to see if they
DON'T receive cv/gates from the system bus??look at
the a110/a140 user's guides, you,also,can remone
jumpers in these circuits to make them not to recieve
signals from the system bus.so,this might be the case
with your a100 minisystem...
bakis.
