Doepfer

mine is very noisey as well...i just try and send it a hot signal, and i would use a vst or similar if i needed something really clean...that being said, i'd love to know if there is an adjustment to make it less noisey (lots of hiss on the output w/nothing plugged in)

easy solution:
use a vca after it, in the patch you're making.
