FS: Frankensynth Must Die!

FS: Frankensynth Must Die!

2002-05-02 by Rhen, Kris

AL: I've received some bad news. With the economy still very much in the
toilet in my industry, I'm unfortunately feeling the pinch of business
dropoff, and have done some real soul-searching. I've come to the sad
conclusion that I must part with Frankensynth. Its not a decision I come to
lightly and in fact I hate being in this position, but at least I haven't
been handed my walking papers like many have. So, big modular sale -
everyone is welcome. The list is here:

http://www.stucki.com/krhen/downloads/frankensynth/sale.html

I hate to do this. All I can say is:

"Its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all..."

(though its little consolation to me :-( We will rebuild someday! Thanks
all
KRIS

Schaltwerk OS rewrite

2002-05-02 by ripe

OK,

So I may be crazy, but I have started rewriting the Schaltwerk OS from
scratch...

If anyone is an 8051 guru and wants to help, please email me. This is the
last post I will make on this to the A100 group until I get somewhere.
Please join the schaltwerk list to discuss the schaltwerk further (new
features, code, etc) the schaltwerk list is here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dOePfErsChALtwERk

I have laid out the schematics of the internals, and I almost have my
development environment set up.

Hopefully I will get some info back from Doepfer to make things go a little
easier, but for now I am going it alone :)

I will be posting progress on this project to my Schaltwerk website, located
here: http://www.socialentropy.com/schaltwerk

Right now I only have some pictures, the retranslated manual, and some links
to technical stuff about the internals.

If anyone has some good feature requests, now is the time to speak or
forever hold your peace!

cheers
ripe
