agreed - you might want to contact your local distributor ot doepfer 
directly.  while i do not use the system bus in my system,  i DID have a 
problem with my a-190. when powered up, it would flash properly for the self 
test and when fed a midi signal, would produce a gate but no cv1 or 2.  never 
found out exactly what the problem was. ended up swapping a-190`s without 
success and ended sending my frame back to enport for examination. neither my 
original or first replacements worked in my frame which tested out properly 
but a third, older unit they had did work properly. i`m still mystified as to 
what the problem was but as it now works, i`m satisfied. great support from 
my distributor !
