Anyone else has tried this yet? :)

Hi tried it with the Quad AD - is nice for slow unpredictable though regulary sounding modulations. Nothing for the audio range. Ill put another idea reg. waveshaping in another posting Florian Carlos wrote: > Anyone else has tried this yet?

Sorry, candide question : HOW SO YOU DO (PATCH) CRAPPY WAVESHAPABLE OSCILLATORS WITH QUAD AD OR QUAD ADSR? put 4 oscillators outputs into the 4 inputs of quad AD(sr)? is that it? best, A --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, Florian Anwander <Florian.Anwander@...> wrote:

I think Forian asked for this already, Dieter, Would two A100 suitcases small version can fit on top of the monster base next to each other? that would be very cool for some of us with two suitcase already and wanting to expand their system? well i'm seeking for such a solution at the moment... It's possible to place two standard suitcases on the monster base. The A-100 monster base is ~ 89 cm (same as the monster cases). The standard suitcases are ~ 46,5 cm, i.e. 93 ~ cm for two side by side. One has about 2 cm overhang on each side but the rubber feet of both standard suitcases are still within the monster base top panel. We could manufacture the A-100 monster base with ~ 89 cm (fitting to the monster cases, 2x2 cm overhang for two standard suitcases) or ~ 93 cm (fitting to two normal suitcases, 2x2 cm overhang of the monster base if a monster case is placed on top) - whatever the customers prefer. But we will not offer both versions ! Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

Wouldn't it be a logical decision to fit the monster base to whatever sells (or sold) most ? I suspect that the regular suitcases outsell the monster cases by a big ratio (the monster cases *are* expensive* after all), but hey, I'm not a sales person... So my vote goes to the 93cm 2xsuitcase-fitted version. *With* ribbon controller. ;-) -g

No need for extra sound source. just patch the end of decay to the gate so it self triggers. and you can drive the output to audio/oscillator levels, jsut mess aroudn with the switch and the different controls to get different 'waveforms' and control the frequency. not ideal but, it's 4 extra sound sources right there if in pinch... > So my vote goes to the 93cm 2xsuitcase-fitted version. > *With* ribbon controller. ;-) For the Musikmesse we found a simple solution to mount the R2M/A-198 ribbon controller in front of the monster base with two mounting angles normally used in the d3 system to mount two d3m on top of each other. This construction allows to place the A-100CGK keyboard below the ribbon. I'll take a picture and add it to the preliminary page of the monster base. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
