Doepfer

I'm going to be using my system for predominantly audio processing
interfacing with a Digidesign 192 via a bantam balanced patchbay. I
need to be able to run a bantam cable to minijack input on the
Doepfer, and vice versa. Back into the 192 should be ok as i can patch
into the unbalanced inputs but whats the best solution for output into
the Doepfer? Is there a module that can handle input and outputs in
difference jack/xlr sizes?

You're going to want the A-119 External Input to beef up your signal
to modular levels, and that takes a balanced input on a 1/4" jack, so
get that and a bantam to 1/4" jack cable. The A-119 also gives you a
nice envelope follower and a gate signal for added fun.
