-Thanks for the reply, Florian!
i tested it with the a 118 noise module, when the output is straight
to the mixer there s no hum, it only appears when i connect this
signal to my VCA from another frame i have , which is powered by a
standard a100 power supply.

Try connecting an earphone or headphone with 3.5mm jack to the output of
a module (and do not connect anything else). You will hear of course
only on side of the earphone, but it may show you whether the hum is
there or not. If it is there, something is wrong with the diy kit (or
how you connected it). If the hum is not there, then you have a problem
with the electric relation of this A-100 frame and the mixer.

Make sure that stabilized 12V supplies are used. Sounds like unstabilized
are used. You cannot see from the LEDs on the bus board if the supplies are
stabilized.

In general the DIY kit 2 is not recommended for high quality requirements as
mentioned on our website:

"This is an extremely inexpensive version of the power supply. The quality
cannot be compared to those of the normal A-100 power supply (A-100PSU2).
Stability of the voltages is significantly worse compared to the regular
A-100 power supply (A-100PUS2). Especially if VCOs are are used tuning
problems may occur. But the bus board and the mounting rails (these are the
most expensive part of the kit) can be used later even in combination with a
high quality supply (e.g. A-100PSU2 or A-100 DIY Kit 1). In case of doubt we
recommend the A-100 DIY Kit 1 as the voltage stability of this kit is much
better."

Best wishes

Hi Miguel, please take a look at the wall mount transformer and post
the numbers. What output voltage, and what output current?

Thanks,
Doug
