understand that they are stored random voltages, but do they always
send the same random events? Does each output send a differnt random

the A-149-1?

hello -
the outputs of the a-149/2 are the individual binary outputs of the top
a-149/1 section. each is a +5vdc "gate" voltage. it is either on or off. it will
change state based on the clocking speed of the a-149/1. the individual
outputs can then be used to randomly trigger any other function in the synth.
