all hail the a126 frequency shifter

all hail the a126 frequency shifter

just got an a126 frequency shifter, it's a major tragedy that these
are no longer made, this thing is the absolute bomb.

i'd like to hear what it would be like doing shifts of less than 50hz
from the original, but this requires the a143-9 quadrature vco/lfo.

does anyone have any sound files of this lying around? also, should we
not be somehow getting a bit more organised about a wiki of module
sound examples? i like this list (only thing not pointless about
yahoo...) but maybe a wiki for that? or use one of the easily
searchable sound library sites with good search engine. i guess i
should put my time where my mouth is and upload some stuff there myself...

while i'm here, can i just say, looking forward to the 189-1 bit
crusher, and when will they be in thomann? i'd love to buy direct, but
the bank transfer thing is too much hassle for words...

You have to ask Thomann. I don't know if they already ordered A-189-1. The
first A-189-1 will be delivered next week but as we have a lot of pre-orders
I'm not sure if we have still modules of the first batch left. You may even
order from Schneiders Buero in Berlin. As far as I remember they have
pre-ordered A-189-1. Or how about ordering from the Doepfer representative
in your country ? (I don't know where you live, maybe there is no
representative)

Best wishes
