A-190-2 Midi to CV needs 5V power?

A-190-2 Midi to CV needs 5V power?

Does anyone know if the new A-190-2 low cost MIDI to CV module will require
a 5V source like the current A-190 does?

it probably will because it will have a digital/eprom type chip that usually run on 5 volts. but
it is possible for a onboard regulator but i doubt it.

The A-190-2 does not require a +5V power supply. Only the A-190-1 and the
A-113 still require +5V. But we think about to redesign these modules so
that even for these modules no longer +5V are required.

The lower section of the A-170 does the job.
