Help! Power Supply Fuse Dilemma

Help! Power Supply Fuse Dilemma

2002-07-02 by mark_klatte

Hi everyone,

Can any of you tell me which brand and type of fuse goes into the
power supply of the A100? I need to buy replacements and nobody seems
to carry the right kind.

I asked Doug at En-Port (which is where I bought my modulars) and he
said the type is 250 volt, 1 amp, fast blow. I found that type at
Radio Shack (which is where Doug told me to look). But the filament
looks nothing like the one found in the original and it just doesn't
work.

The original has writing on it that says: T100mAL 250v

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

My original fuses blew right away. Enport told me that they're
shipped to the US with the fuses spec'd for 250V, even though the
power supply is the 115V supply. The synth will draw double the
amps at half the voltage - 200mA (.2A).

I couldn't find any wth those rating at Radio Shack, so I just bought
fuses the correct physical size, with the lowest rating I could find
bigger than 200mA. Works fine.

Joe
