Re: [Doepfer_a100] diy DIN-Sync to analogue clock converter

This is an answer to a private mail, I received from Coy via Yahoo, but
the give reply adress did fail. Because the request it might be of
public interest I send my answer to Coy the list.

Hi Coy

It does divide just to 16th, but 32nd (or 24th triplets) would be
possible without a problem. I could modify the pcb to this.

64th's aren't possible with DIN-sync. At least not in a straight way,
because DIN-sync provides 96th and dividing by one and a half is not
really easy (requires a PLL).

would your adaptor circuit work the other way around (regular clock to
dyn sync) or just one way?

C.

That would be something I'd be interested in. Syncing my 606 to lfo... Have
the A100 as master.

Hi Carlos

It is one way. Regular clock to DIN-sync requires some more advanced
processor based electronics. The sync-lock from innerclock Systems does
that: www.innerclocksystems.com

I think you can get them only at AH or Schneiders. At least, thats what
David from innerclock is writing on his website.
