I recently picked up a second hand a100p6 that was packed by
sandwiching it between two single 12" x 24" sheets of bubble wrap. As
you might guess, the unit got to me damaged in the post.
The standoff posts that attach the heatsink/powersuppl y/case on the
left/interior side seem to have snapped off. Other than a blown fuse
I just replaced, this case/power appear to be functioning as they
should. I was able to remove the power supply and with needle-nose
pliers, unscrew the broken ends. I've attached a picture of the
broken pieces. Does anyone know where I could get a pair of
replacement stand-offs?
I'm assuming a power supply is a pretty rugged piece of equipment and
that despite the snapping standoffs, should be fine to use. Anyone
have any reason to believe that I should replace the power supply?
