i agree wholeheartedly on this one.  while it would probably be too cost 
prohibitive, maybe there could be  "a"  and  "b"  versions incorporating 
different features at different pricepoints - ?  and, mr. doepfer is correct, 
everyone has their own ideas on what it should be, even me !  :^)  ( just for 
the record, i favor a unit with more emphasis on the touch kybd capabilities 
and less on the inetgral sequencer(s). but will seriously look at whatever 
version comes out ! )
as to the a-198 - can`t be too soon for me ! in a fit of enthusiasm, i 
pre-ordered one through  en-port and am waiting for it to become available !
