Just saying hello

Just saying hello

2009-07-14 by Marie

Hi all,

Just got linked to this group by Doepfer after i asked them for some A112 demos, so thought i'd say hello!

Have been an A100 user for about 3 or 4 years now, have uploaded a couple of pics of my rig into the album Crazy_Jane.

Also, if it's ok to link to my music page, it is here:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=466687&content=music

The tracks use the A100 quite heavily, also Jupiter 6 and Manikin Memotron.

Welcome Marie,

Plenty of very knowledgeable folks here.

Links to music that uses A100 is fine, I like your music, very cool
ideas.

David

Thanks for the thumbs up guys.

I've been playing around with the Waldorf XT lately, the wavetables on it are nice, but then you listen to like old ppg demos and their bit crunched take on it is just too sweet... so i'm wondering if the a112 can get close to that.

Have listened to the stuff on the self oscillate page on that's very cool, though more of a mangling demo than one of what the osc handles like to play chromatically.

Hello,
Good to have you here!
If you want some A112 demos I can provide. I am doing some work with it now.
I am very much into the wavetable function.
You just reminded me that someone on this list was going to reveal something
on the 16th of July!
That OS X software for the A112.. ;-)
Hope that still goes through...

Greets!

Ernst

thanks for the nice words and welcome to the group :-)

to be honest, i haven't really used the a112 as a wavetable vco
for chromatic play yet. i use my beloved waldorf microwave 1
or a blacet miniwave for chromatic play. so i have to try
that out on an a112 some day soon. thanks for the suggestion :-)

best wishes

Hey Ingo,
Mainly my stuff is also hacking and slicing with the A112.
I have some stuff here on my harddisk. Will put it up soon.
I have not tried how the chromatic playing is with the A112 and if it
is possible..
Have to test that soon!
Is Daniel Ornelas still on the list? how is the software going???? I
am still eagerly awaiting ;-)

Greetings,
Ernst
