any way to control a 152 with a 154?

any way to control a 152 with a 154?

i love the control of the 154, specifically the VC last step, but
don't really need the 155. I'd just like to control the 152
addressable switch with it. I can get a lot of good stuff when using
the CV in of the 152, along with pre-processing, but when using clock
in, I can't seem to figure out a way to do VC last step. the only
idea I can think of is actually to get another 152, which i find
awesomely hilarious. finally, the modes of the 154 would be sweet.
I've also thought that maybe I could clone the section of the 155 that
has the 8 jacks at the bottom including the output from that row. the
155 seems fairly modular in itself looking at the back

as does the 152

anyway i guess my question is, does anyone know about this bus between
the 155 and 154? and also internally in the 155 and 152? I don't have
the doepfer service docs (yet?)

thanks. these modules seem like they are designed simply enough that
this kind of stuff might be possible...

If you are experienced with electronics thats possible. You have to
interrupt the internal A-152 addressing (three address signals A0, A1, A2)
and connect the three address signals to the corresponing pins of the A-154.
Some soldering is required as you cannot use the high voltage address
signals (0/+12V) of the A-154 which are available at the socket that is use
to establish the connection to the A-155. Instead of this the internal low
voltage address signals (0/+5V) of the A-154 have to be used.

Best wishes

great, thanks for the info. are there service docs available or anything so
that I may complete this modification? I have a 154 and 152 here waiting
for me to hook them together :)
