Eurorack in Norway

Eurorack in Norway

2012-08-21 by achtung_999

Hello list,

I was wondering how many people from Norway are on this list.
There is a slight chance that I'll be moving to Oslo next year.
Since I know of the fierce import taxes I was wondering where you guys
buy your modules (Swedish shopping?).
I have been coming to Oslo for years already but am still surprised
that there is no decent shop that sells modular stuff.
Hope any of you guys can drop some hints!

Greetings,

Ernst

Hi,
Have a look to escape from noise shop. They are based in sweden and sell online too, i don't know if this avoid import taxes but I think is the nearest shop to Norway.

The official representativ of Doepfer is in located in Gothenburg
(Göteborg). This should be closer (300km from Oslo)

http://www.analogue.org/network/

I just returned from a three weeks trip through Norway. And of course I
always had a sideways look into the music shops

4sound in Oslo looks ok, but does not target analogue electronic music.

There is usually also the website analog.no (not reachable at the
moment). Perhaps the people/the person behind this page (I forgot the
name) can provide better information.

Thanks guys!
And yes, 4sound is quite ok Florian. I know both stores in Oslo.
But hardly interesting for modular. Another good general store in Oslo is
Riff music (close to the Opera building). I had pleasant dealings with the
excellent personel there! But they are mainly a guitar/studio equipment
shop.
I was definately interested on what is going on in the modular scene in
Oslo. I have been coming there for 10 years and it seems like no one is
really selling the stuff there..
Thanks again!

Grtz

Ernst
