I was building a vco from a schematic I found online, I already have one that works fine along with my wasp filter A-124. I did something bad and now the wasp does not work properly. All of the jacks work except for the audio in I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem. I'm going to fix the it I just don't know where to start. Any advise would be awesome!

Hi Jack,
I'm not électronicienne but I think it might help if you clarify whether it is input or output audio does not work.

Wasp filter not working correctly

I'm relatively new to modular synth so forgive me if I sound stupid haha.

Hi Jack,

It is clear that the problem is not normal, it may be that a single bad contact with the connectors on the input jack, but it can also be a weld that dropped or others.

if you have done all the usual checks before concluding a failure, if the module is new, check your trader to repair
I'm sorry I can not help you more on this topic

Cheers
Florence

What do you mean with "something bad" exactly? Knowing the exact
circumstances of the failure, might be helpful for solving the problem.

Was the affected VCO on the same +/-12V powersupply as the A-124, or was
it on a separate supply?

I'm not sure what happened but now the wasp does not accept an audio in signal and no longer sweeps. Both of the cv jacks seem to work but I get no filter sweep. Is it bad to have multiple power supply's?

Thanks, Jess
