and thats not only when your drunk playing a gig, which makes
everything sounds better :)

Conclusion: Only play drunk ;-)

Seriously: The AD converter of the A112 is pretty gritty... but if you don't get a half decent sample if the sample rate is set on the highest quality and the input volume is set ok then I assume your unit is broken. Get in touch with Doepfer!

OK conclusion..."I guess the f***ing thing is bwoken"

Heres the gig... the bit using the A112 is the first sequencer-ish sounds you hear after the rumbling and tape delay feedback at the start...

agree with Zoë, very nice performance (and love the retro film visuals!)

and this probably isn't too helpful a suggestion since it means buying another mod, but judging from the kind of work you do, you might have better luck getting the results you want with a MakeNoise Phonogene. more of a digital looper than a sampler, designed from a musique concrete/tape manipulation philosophy (looping, splicing, varispeed, reverse, sos), also incorprating granular synthesis features, all under voltage control. a bit more intuitive to use than the 112, especially for experimental noise collage/electronic improvisation.
