Faulty A-178 Theremin

Faulty A-178 Theremin

2014-01-21 by JenkinsC01@aol.com

Hi All,
i have just bought a second used A-178 Theremin module. Unlike my first one, which works fine, this one powers up, but doesn't respond to any input from the antenna or movement of its controls. I've tried switching antennae, connectors, etc, but it's stubbornly unresponsive. I can't see any physical damage to it. Before I give up and send it in for servicing, does anyone know of a common fault with this module which I may be able to fix with my limited abilities?
Cheers,
Chris

If the module does not respond at all (e.g. by touching the antenna) it's
probably faulty and has to be repaired.

Best wishes
