Please refer to page 3 of the user's manual (fig. 1): there is no gap. You have to AND the output with the clock signal to obtain pulses. The pulsewidth of the clock then defines the width of the pulses. Instead of this you may also use an A-162 that is triggered by the clock signal to define the pulse width. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

If you feed 7 consecutive outputs from the A-161 into the 7 inputs of the A-186 combiner module and allow it to run (using an A-160 of course) is there enough of a gap between the pulses to appear as 7 separated gates at the A-186's output or do they all merge into a single 7-beats-long gate?Thanks
