Sockets A-180-2

Sockets A-180-2

Does anybody knows if the sockets used on the Multiple A-180-2 are mono or stereo?

Thanks,

Danny

And it is important: The doepfer sockets rely on that you are using a
cable with a mono plug!

Simply hold a stereo plug aside a doepfer socket and you will see, that
the ground connector of the Doepfer socket contacts the shaft of the
plug where the ring of a stereo plug is located:

see http://fa.utfs.org/diy/a100/doepfer_socket_jack.jpg

This does not matter for mono cables. But if you will connect such a
stereo cable with a socket, that picks the ground from the real shaft
position, then the ground will be missing in this connection.

Thanks, I would rather not use it in the a-100 system but I wanted to use a couple of A-180-2's as a mini patchbay in my Doepfer-rack to connect some FX, so desolder the circuit boards so I was hoping they were stereo. I hope you understand.
Thanks, regards,
