MAQ 16 behaviour question

I'm using a firmware 350 version of the MAQ 16 which I got second hand awhile ago, and love like all my other doepfer modules and gear ~ but now as I get deeper into it ~ some odd behaviours are making me wonder if I need to update firmware or just somehow reset it?
1) I can not dial in all tempos for example 82bpm or 80bpm will work but not 81? The dial will just skip over certain odd-numbered BPM
2) Some Event Menu items seem to be either missing and/or just not working ~ particularly the Pause functions
eg I found a "Pr...9" and could not change the digit and could not find: PA1... Note ON/OFF absolute (1) / PA5 1...5 octaves with pause / Pr1... Note ON/OFF relative (1)/ Pr5 1...5 octaves with pause anywhere clicking Event and turning the dial for that menu
Is there something I can to do reset to defaults or do I need to take it somewhere for actual physical repairs and if so ~ where? I'm in Toronto, Canada Have dealt with Martin at Technopolis in the past for ordering products (not repair) and Montreal is quite far. Many thanks kindly in advance! ~ Pete
