A110 vco tuning pot

A110 vco tuning pot

2016-07-28 by jaccoville@yahoo.com

Hi there everyone,

While assembling and testing my (all Doepfer!) drone station I noticed that one of the vco's tuning pots on front didn't match center postion when tuned to C and rangeknob at zero.
All my other A110's do match quite well but this one sits around 7 on the front dial.
I want to correct this so that I instantly see which vco is high or low tuned.
Now the online service manual says something about P5 trimming with the tune pot centered.
Is it save to do that for a newby?
Like putting the vco sine output to a chromatic tuner, set tune pot at front centered and then turn the P5 until a got a "C" reading?

Best regards (again)
