A-120 revisions?

A-120 revisions?

2016-09-23 by Martin Fay

Am I right in thinking that at some point the A-120 was revised to allow a higher drive level? If so is there a revision/date on the PCB which could be used to identify this?

The pcb has not changed. Just the serial resistor at the audio input(R15)
has been reduced from 22k to 10k to increase the input sensitivity. R15 is
located behind the audio input level control below C1/10u.

Version 2 of the A-120 with the transistor arrays has been equipped from the
first series with 10k instead of 22k.

Best wishes

And just for the "I-dont-develope-I-solder-only"-people: you don't have
to desolder R15. Sou simply may solder another 22k parallel to the
existing R15.
