The A-173-1/2, offering 1/2 octave more than standard keys, being inner patched combo and having learning feature, might not be the further quantiser-gate generator, evolving toward a multipurpose function generator, able to change its job according to a downloadable firmware… maybe adding cv/gate inputs? A-110-6 simply a must Cheers

A quote from the A-173-2 description: "The modules communicate via standard midi note on/off messages and are connected internally by means of a 2-wire cable. That way the modules can be mounted at different positions within the case." Could this be available with a real MIDI-In? Floria

With a custom made cable you may use also an external midi keyboard instead of the A-173-1. But there is not sufficient space for a midi socket at the front panel of the two modules. Details in Berlin ... Dieter
